Christian Schreiber
Since entering professional life in 1986, I have been focused on controlling and corporate finance. Prior to establishing Schreiber Finanz, I worked as a corporate finance consultant with a big-four audit company, as controller of an international division in electromechanical production, and as CFO of a privately held engineering company.
In 2000, I founded Schreiber Finanz to serve both owners/managers of small to medium sized businesses and CFOs of larger groups with my combined experience in corporate finance consultancy and in the financial management of companies.
Born in Zürich, I grew up near Bern. I completed my childhood education at public schools in Bern and at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales. I later graduated with a Master’s in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Bern, after a host term in Corporate Finance at the William Simon School of Business in Rochester, New York.
In my free time, I like to stay physically fit, I ski in winter and I hike in summer. I enjoy more passive pleasures too, such as sailing, sharing good meals with friends, concerts at the ESSE Musicbar in Winterthur, where I am a supporter, or an arts exhibition. I am also pro bono treasurer of the Swiss Association for the United World Colleges, one of my alma maters.
Valerio Bagorda
Valerio Bagorda, born 1990 and raised in St. Gallen. Thanks to his family roots, Italian is his second mother tongue besides German. He is also fluent in English and French. After high school, he completed a school for commerce and started to work as an accountant in 2014.
Specializing in accounting, he trained to become an accounting clerk and in 2022 earned his professional certificate in finance and accounting. His first big challenge was to set up the bookkeeping and workflows for a new bookstore. Some of his later jobs included managing complex accounting for gas stations in Switzerland, handling all clients in the French-speaking part of Switzerland for a healthcare company and last but not least, he worked in asset management in an international context. In 2023, he enrolled at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Controlling.
In addition to numbers, Valerio Bagorda enjoys music, spending time in nature and spending time with family and friends.
Marta Pojer
With over twenty years of professional experience in product management, project purchasing, marketing, sales and accounting, Marta Pojer has built a varied and solid career. After completing her higher diploma in economics and a master’s degree in business administration, she gained valuable experience in various industries such as steel, electrical engineering and alternative energies. Today, she successfully utilises this versatile expertise as a controller. She takes a holistic approach and works closely with her clients to develop practical and innovative solutions that are based on sound business knowledge and meet the individual needs of each company.
On her way to becoming a 360-degree financial advisor for companies, especially SMEs, she enjoys immersing herself in our accounting mandates. Thanks to her experience in the other functions of a company, she always keeps an eye on the forest despite the many trees.
Born and raised in Poland, Marta Pojer has lived in the Winterthur region of Switzerland for 15 years. She is married and the mother of one child. In addition to her professional activities, she has a keen interest in naturopathy, healthcare and psychosomatics. In her free time, she finds balance and inspiration through exercise in nature, dancing and reading – activities that give her new energy and balance.
